The Portugal international has since undergone tests at the J Medical centre in Turin, with Juventus providing an update on Thursday.
"Renato Veiga, who came off during the first half of the match against PSV Eindhoven, underwent diagnostic tests," Juve said in a statement.
"The examinations revealed an injury to the tendon of the plantaris gracilis in his right leg."
