Israel has decided to postpone the release of at least 620 Palestinian prisonersnaga casino, shaking up the Gaza ceasefire yet again. As per Tel Aviv, this delay comes after the "humiliating ceremonies" in the most recent hostage release.

As per a statement issued by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, the release of the Palestinian prisoners has been delayed “until the release of the next hostages has been assured, and without the humiliating ceremonies" before the handover of Israeli captives to the Red Cross.

However, an investigation by Bulgaria's National Security Agency (SANS) soon cleared Jose and his company of any wrongdoing.

The release of these 620 Palestinian prisoners was set to take place moments after the handover of six hostages on Saturday. This release was slated to be the largest one-day prisoner release during the ceasefire.

On Saturday, Hamas released six hostages - Tal Shoham, Avera Mengistu, Eliya Cohen, Omer Wenkert, Omer Shem Tov and Hisham al-Sayed. The Palestinian militant group has accused the Israeli Prime Minister of "playing dirty games."

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Basem Naim, a senior member of Hamas' political bureau said - “We believe that again, these are dirty games from the right-wing government to sabotage and undermine the deal and to send a message of willingness to go back to war."

Naim further added that Israel had violated the terms of the truce deal which was implemented on January 19, 2025.

"Over 100 Palestinians have been killed in the first phase, much of the agreed humanitarian aid was not allowed into Gaza, and the withdrawal from the Netzarim Corridor [the militarised zone that divides Gaza into north and south] was postponed,” he told Al Jazeera.

While Israel continues to deny any violation of the ceasefire, many officials have confirmed to New York Times that Israel had violated the ceasefire and the claims made by Hamas are accurate.

In response to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, Israel launched a complete siege of Gaza and has killed nearly 49,000 Palestinians since then.

The constant bombardment of the war-torn strip has also caused the displacement of at least 90 percent of the population in the Palestinian territory.naga casino
